Trail to First Class Guidelines
Sometimes the Scoutmasters can get off the trail to first class. By grouping advancement together by subject and not rank, it can sometimes make for a more efficient path to obtaining the rank of 1st Class Scout. In addition, it sometimes keeps the boys focused on a particular subject without jumping from one unrelated subject to the next. Many times this method will help them understand a particular subject or skill because this method provides a more complete path for each.
